Mariemont High School Distinguished Alumnus Jeffrey R. Anderson is the Founder, CEO and President of Jeffrey R. Anderson Real Estate, Inc., one of the premier Midwest retail real estate developers.
After graduating from Mariemont High School in 1965, Mr. Anderson attended the University of Virginia as a scholar athlete. Following a brief career in the National Football League with the Washington Redskins, Mr. Anderson returned home to serve in the Ohio National Guard and begin his career in the real estate industry.
In the early 1970’s, under the tutelage of Wendy’s founder, Dave Thomas, Mr. Anderson earned a reputation as an outstanding site selection specialist for various clients in the restaurant industry. He began work with Chi Chi’s Restaurants in 1976, eventually becoming Director of Real Estate. Following a successful public stock offering, Mr. Anderson left Chi Chi’s to start his own company in 1985.
Mr. Anderson has built Jeffrey R. Anderson Real Estate into an award winning developer with “the Midas touch”. His company has been consistently recognized within the communities in which it operates. Local, high profile development projects include Rookwood Commons, Harper’s Station, Union Centre Pavilion, Kenwood Pavilion and Deerfield Towne Center.
Mr. Anderson and his wife, Darlene, are committed philanthropists, giving significant time and resources to the local community, the global community and the real estate industry.
