The Life and Leadership Series presents Maria Furtado, Finding Fit in the College Search.

Wednesday October 22nd at 7:00pm, MHS Auditorium. As a part of our Spotlight on CollegeMaria Furtado will present to students in grades 9-12 and their parents about reducing stress in the college process by focusing on finding the best fit and match in the college search.

maria-furtado100-140 Maria Furtado is the Executive Director of Colleges that Change Lives, Inc. (CTCL). Colleges That Change Lives, is a non-profit organization dedicated to the advancement and support of a student-centered college search process. We support the goal of each student finding a college that develops a lifelong love of learning and provides the foundation for a successful and fulfilling life beyond college.

College & Career Planning Center (CCPC)

The Mariemont City School’s College and Career Planning Center helps students navigate their post-secondary education and career options. The CCPC is a Resource Center staffed with a dedicated college counselor and resources such as test prep support and Naviance, a web-based career and college search tool. The CCPC counselors, programs and resources allow students and parents to feel confident and comfortable with the post-secondary choices. Click here to visit the CCPC website.

The Life and Leadership Series

The The Life and Leadership Series is a collaboration between the District and the Foundation to bring high-quality national experts and experiences to our school community. The programs included in this series build upon the existing robust offerings throughout the District, creating an even more vibrant and well-rounded experience for our students and families. The Life and Leadership Series is one of those extras that the Mariemont School Foundation provides in accordance with our Mission:  to support the long-term success of our students and community through initiatives that preserve, enhance, and sustain educational excellence.
